Community Human Services - Elm House and Sonoma House
Seaside, CA
About the house
Community Human Services, a Monterey County nonprofit, runs two sober living environments in Seaside at confidential addresses: Elm House for single men and Sonoma House for single women. They are meant for people moving from residential treatment toward independent living, with peer support and referrals for work and school.
Applicants must have completed residential treatment, have at least 30 days of sobriety and take part in outpatient treatment or a self-help program. Monthly fees apply, with sliding-scale rates and payment plans available. The houses do not provide medication-assisted treatment on site; the organization runs a separate MAT clinic. Intake is handled through its Genesis House program.
